What is a well toned body and how can I achieve it?
Can someone please explain exactly what a well toned body is suppose to look like? How do you get a well toned body? I hear that you have to burn fat and lift small weight a lot of times.
Also, I want to create a workout plan but I do not want huge arms and muscles like those of a bodybuilder. My goal is to get nice abs, good looking arms, and a nice chest. I don't want to get bigger and huge. How can I achieve my goals? Thanks!
My best definition for you of a well toned body is by looking at someone, or yourself, and you can tell where one muscle mass begins and another ends. Example, you can see the outline of where a person's shoulders and biceps meet. If you read any health or fitness magazine you'll surely see well-toned fitness models.
Now for creating a well toned body. Your correct about burning fat but you've fallen into the misconception that lifting small weights with high reps creates definition. Isolation exercises combined with intense cardio is the number way to build a well toned body. I've posted two links below that can help you begin. One has a sortable list of isolation exercises. The other one will help you find a workout plan to help reach your goals if you don't want to create one yourself.
Is 18 years old too late for me too start working out and buffing up?
I'm on the footy team, and want to gain more strength to benefit my game. Anyway, since I already have pretty strong legs and decent abs, my goal is to gain strength and mass for the arms, shoulders and chest.
But at 18 izit too late to buff up and build my body?
Definitely not. Your younger than most people when they start working out. Just follow a good routine and you will be fine. Check different health and fitness magazines to help you get started.
What is the best brand of concealer and foundation?
I have under eye circles and I want to know what the best brand is that really works. And to go along with it, the best foundation? Thanks.
The 2 best and most natural looking Drugstore Make-up Brands (And neither test on Animals!):
Sally Hansen Natural Beauty

Check out the videos on the website for suggestions.

Physician’s Formula Recommendations:
Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Face Powder: ~$13.00 individual, ~$20 in the 3 pack
(Voted “Best Face Powder” in Star Magazine)
Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Blush: ~$12.00 individual, ~$20 in the 3 pack
(Won “Testers’ Favorite Product Award” in Fitness Magazine and Awarded “Natural Beauty Award” in Natural Health Magazine)
Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Matte Finishing Veil: ~$13.00 individual, ~$20 in 3 the pack
The 3 pack is not on the website, but I know for a fact it is sold at Target. It's probably sold at Walmart, and wherever they carry physician's formula products. The colors I saw that it came in were fair, light, and medium. They probably have Tan; I just didn’t see it at Target.
I have oily skin, so here’s a tip if you do, too. Just carry around the Talc-Free Matte Finishing Veil in a purse or backpack (for school or work or shopping or whatever) and apply it when you feel oily. It's 100% translucent, so it just eats the oil without looking chalky or heavy.
To me, the mineral powder and blush looked hard, like I'd have to scrape it with my powder brush, but really it comes of quite easily. Take the brush it comes with and just dab it on, it'll come off without any rubbing at all.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d
*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.
Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with excellent resistance training routines that will not get you bored is “Muscle and Fitness”. Signup for the free newsletter.
A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.
*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Email me if you want a good indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have other questions.
