WoW: Mists of Pandaria ULTRA?

I'm hoping to upgrade my machine to hopefully be able to play World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria are Ultra settings without any FPS issues, even in boss fights.

The problem is I'm not very hard ware savvy.

My current specs are:

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965
RAM: 4.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 401MHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-MA770-UD3 (Socket M2)
Graphics Card: 1024MB GeForce 9800 GT (Undefined)
Hard drive: 977GB Seagate

I've been told a Nvidia GTX 580 might be able to run MoP smoothly, and so I guess this would be a good choice? Maybe even the cheaper 480 would be okay?
Would I need to upgrade my motherboard though? or can it support it?
What about my other hardware, is it too weak to support ultra?

dknol answers:

Your brain specs will easily run life on ultra, go get a life and some friends instead of wasting it behind a computer screen.

This is what I do when my wow stops working…

1. Delete your entire wow folder. (Just drag the folder labeled World of Warcraft into trash)

2. GO online into Battle.Net

3. Sign in

4. Click on my account

5. In My Account click on world of warcraft and download complete game client

6. Run the download

7. When it asks you if you have already registered click yes

(During this time it will have a bunch of people from Classic with a loading to 100% Bar)

8. Once this download is complete you should have an icon called “World of Warcraft Launcher” on your desktop (if it is not there then it is applications)

9. Open that and you will see the patcher

10. Once the patcher's bar is yellow you can play, but for best results wait for the patcher's bar to turn green. (You can always return to the patcher later, and the content will automatically download while you play if it is yellow, but you wont get the best results)

11. (extra) If you are me, you would find the word “Launcher” on the icon annoying, to delete that word just click on the icon, and press enter, which will allow to name the Icon what you want.

If you can not run the repair utility (located in the WoW folder), then you might want to go to the official tech support forums. They will be able to answer questions like this a lot better than us. Since this was originally posted in the UK section of Yahoo Answers, I am assuming you are using the EU client/servers. In the sources below, I have linked the EU tech support forum for WoW.

320-b hard drive

I need a better video card to play World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria ( that's pretty much the only computer game i play).
I need to know if GIGABYTE GV-R667D3-1GI Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card Would work well with my computer and playing a game like WoWMoP. If there is another video card u suggest that isnt to expensive I would love to hear suggestions.

dknol answers:

You only have a 300W power supply unit (PSU) in that machine. You need at least a 450W PSU to run the 6670. So, no, you cannot use the 6670 unless you upgrade the PSU first….
