Since the screen is better than a Lenovo Ideapad Y570, but the rest pretty comparable, and a Lenovo Y580 is a lot better with its 1080p screen and 3rd gen i7 and GTX 660M, that laptop should go for about $800 to $850
The 16GB RAM is a waste.
Here is $1300 that is much better:

For a laptop, yeah. You can't really build one yourself.
If you want a gaming PC, build it yourself (desktop only) (will be cheaper)
Why do you need a gaming laptop though? Are you going to walk around outside playing a game on a 15 pound laptop?
Just wanna know whether the laptop i bought is a good deal or not?
i bought a laptop THOSHIBA QOSMIO . I got it for $1399.99. Do u think its a good deal

I really just want a good performing laptop that will last me awhile. I will mainly need it for school stuff and possibly gaming in the long run but I have a budget. The HP for me is actually cheaper but which one do you guys think will last longer and is better? The dell is like 45 dollars more.
HP Laptops are very fragile , and cannot be used for gaming, and the battery is so bad , it finishes in like 4 to 5 hours , I prefer buying the dell , since their ram is the same , and the graphics, in dell is better, cuz AMD isn't good at all.
