Hi!

Okay..here's what you gotta do:

You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.

1.Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.?

2.Double-click the category containing your device driver, and then double-click the name of the device that you want to restore to a previous driver version.

3.Click the Driver tab, and then click Roll Back Driver.

If you are logged on as a standard user, the button will be dimmed, which means it's unavailable. You must be logged on as an administrator to roll back a driver.

Sandra asks…

How do you use bluetooth with a laptop and 2gen ipod touch? I don't really know what bluetooth is!! HElP!!?

I am pretty new to technology so if someone could tell me how and why to set up my hp lap top with my ipod touch I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

dknol answers:

Bluetooth is a wireless communication method. You can use bluetooth to connect a wireless bluetooth headset to a mobile phone for example. To connect two devices via bluetooth, both need to have bluetooth obviously. Turn on the bluetooth on your laptop and on your iPod Touch. Using the bluetooth software on your laptop you can search for devices within range and it will find the iPod Touch. Connect and you are done.

Maria asks…

In clear English, what is “bluetooth” technology?

What is it intended to do? What are the requirements for its use and installation?

dknol answers:

Blue tooth people are annoying. I hate them with a passion. Down with blue tooth.

Sharon asks…

Non-bluetooth wireless headset?

Okay, so the people I work for are scared to death of EMF, and therefore refuse to use bluetooth. However, they also want a headset that they can talk into that is not connected to their phone. And thus, i am on the hunt for a wireless headset that does not use bluetooth. They used to have a headset that had a cord that connected to a battery which was then attached to a clip they could wear. The company that carried them does not anymore, so now here I am, looking for a company that uses outdated technology..yay. lol. Any ideas??

If it is not connected with a wire, it is going to be wireless… And hence be RF…

Bluetooth is not harmful at all… The power transmission levels are extremely low, as it is a short range wireless connection… I would not worry about any wireless consumer products, as they are all perfectly safe… I would work on educating them on how safe wireless technology is, instead of being hypocritical and trying to find a non-bluetooth wireless headset, which would undoubtedly end up having the same “problem” since how else, other than RF would a wireless headset work?
