Your Questions About Bluetooth Technology Definition

Sandra asks…

Please help me find the more reliable full protection?

I'm a college student who just started majoring in Computer Information System. I'm planing to buy a laptop to make, edit animated movie videos on the go, download music videos, designing web pages and completing my day-to-day college assignments. I found this laptop which I believe it would fits my needs fully except for the graphic card which I'm not so sure about. Now, I'm don't know from what brand*mcafee, norton…) should I buy the protection from (including anti virus, firewall, spyware and blah blah blah.) Please let me know your suggestions regard to this laptop and regard to what antivirus, firewall, spyware works very well for you. Please suggest other protection that are not free (lets just say that I have bad experiences with those free protection such as avg, avast, spybot.
THANK YOU!

I have tried many out and i personally do not like McAfee of Norton. To me there worst than the free ones. Especially when you try to delete them they just wont go away. If you really want protection i would go with ESET NOD 32. Http://www.eset.com/. It is really good and does a great job protecting your computer from viruses. I put it on my moms computer and its still running like new with no viruses for almost 4 years now… When you go to there web page and click buy make sure you change the tab from business to home to see your price…..

Thats a really nice laptop and your graphics card is going to work great. Im a big fan of NVIDIA GeForce.

dknol answers:

If it it pre-loaded with Vista, you will have trouble playing high end video games. You don't specify which type you play, but for example: My boyfriend has a comparable laptop that has dedicated 1gb of memory on the video card and he can only run World of Warcraft at low settings. Anything higher KILLS the framerate so horribly that it looks terrible. It's only a 2.1ghz processor and 4GB of RAM on Vista is a minimum.
So, my answer is maybe. Depends on what games you're referring to.

Lisa asks…

Is the HP g7-1167dx a good laptop?

I'll mainly be using the laptop for multitasking, school, internet, and somewhat of a gaming laptop. Could someone tell me if the 1.8 ghz AMD Phenom II quad core processor is suited for the task. And if this laptop isn't suited for the job please tell which would. My interests are
-under $500
-4GB ram+
-500GB HDD+
-intel core i3 or AMD processor that is equivalent
-FULL KEYBOARD (Including number key pad)

Yes I bought this laptop last week. Its fantastic the quad core processor does a good job of performance. The laptop does not heat up very much. The graphics performance is fantastic for 449.00 at best-buy is a steal. I would definitely buy this laptop. Also consider upgrading to 8 gigs of ram cause it costs on an extra 40 bucks off new-egg. You will enjoy this laptop!!!!

Sandy asks…

Is this computer decent for my needs?

I want a computer around this ones price, but able to play World of Warcraft. That's it. I want to be able to play WoW without any trouble, as well as a few other games along the same lines, which don't require much from a computer to play, as well as a place to write, store my music etc.

Do you think this one will be able to play WoW with no issues? Or do you know of another computer that would and would be better / cheaper?

dknol answers:

The computer itself looks decent but for gameing you need a better video card. Im sure the AMD (good brand) has plenty of processing power but the limited video memory could make WOW choppy where it would be fine with older games like quake or Doom. You might look into getting an e machine their a budget computer but they use legit parts and not crap so you can normaly get more bang for the money. Good luck
