World Of Warcraft – Fall Of The Lich King EPIC Spoiler Patch 3.3.2 **SPOILERS** The final wing of the Icecrown Citadel is opened. You get this cinematic after you’ve defeated Arthas. It is later revealed that Bolvar’s body was recovered by the Scourge along with that of Dranosh Saurfang, and has been tortured mercilessly by the Lich King. Despite the Lich King’s extensive efforts to corrupt him, however, he has thus far managed to resist. It is revealed that Bolvar is the new Lich King after Arthas’ defeat and death at the Frozen Throne. Disclaimers: This description was made by me first. @jerrodsbored The helmet contains Ner’zhul’s soul iirc Frostmourn was merely a bait to get Arthas to Ner Zhul and free him for a new Lich king ;) correct me if im wrong
But, I thought it was Frostmourn that turned Arthas, not the helmet!?
@D4vyJones Arthas killed Ner’zhul in his mind by taking full control and becoming dominant figurine in the fusion of Arthas and Ner’zhul that is Lich King. (Omg that was so much no life in this sentence.

@andreib13 yeah but this is not just because it is cool, it actually has an argument: scourge without a lich king will make all the undeads go mad killing everything randomly.
