Why is my World of Warcraft (The Burning Crusade) installer giving me an error message?

Every time I get to about 77% in the Burning Crusade installer an error message pops up and says the installer has to close. I’ve tried installing it 3 times, but nothing has worked.
I’ve installed World of Warcraft the original game, and also patched to the latest patch. Please help, I don’t know what’s wrong.
