Who has the better community, world of warcraft or runescape?
Which game is like more friendly world of warcraft or runescape?
I think world of warcraft because back when I used to play runescape like 80% of the players were 8-12 year olds and very annoying.
But in WoW no one is like that everyone is nice and respectful!
Anyways what do you think?

World of Warcraft to be honest, alot more mature players play World of Warcraft than Runescape so much more helpful and appreciative .
I played both WOW and runescape and i think wow is the better community. the age range is 13+ but some people can be jerks it it more of a community game.
world of war craft after awile runescape gets realy boring trust mei played 1 tear and i got so bored i felt like doing my home work rather than playing it

Yes, I agree. I used to play Runescape and stopped a while ago, after playing it for a bit over 6 months. It got boring really fast, the people there where really annoying and saying dumb things and very immature. I think that World of Warcraft players are much more mature and older, you are not allowed to play Runescape when you are younger than 13, however all that you have to do is select “13 or older” and you are done. Not like World of Warcraft is any different, but more older kids are interested in it than younger kids, and just the opposite in Runescape.
WoW, has a lot of players that are older, but now that it’s become more popular a lot of younger kids are starting to play as well. Including my 10 yr old brother
world of warcraft in my opinion is pretty cool…… just 15$ a month… and it should stop more little kids from going on it haha…

Ah, never played WoW but I’ve played other online games and the RS community seems to be … low on IQ and ready to insult you at every step. I’ve met individual good people but when people are gathered for mini games … *shakes head*
And just to say this: got called a ‘noob etc etc’ yesterday by a lvl 30 in Castle Wars cause I told him I couldn’t go for the flag cause I was low level. Low being 94. Which leads to the other point: no team playing or common sense that ruins the mini games.
Of course WoW is better. But be careful, many kids also play WoW, but it isn’t that bad. WoW is complex and sometime kids just don’t have what it takes to get to the top.
World of Warcraft, it has better community, trust me, I know. In RuneScape you will found a lot of noobs that won`t give a sh*t if you die and lose your stuff, they will not even repair your grave lol. And in World of Warcraft if you type help somebody will have the pleasure and help you ex: if you are in combat and your dying, etc.
World Of Warcraft has a better community because of the respect given to each player I play both wow and runescape and World Of Warcraft In my mind I believe has a way better community!…
Wow has better community if older like 15-40
RuneScape is geared twards 8-10 or ppl who dont have money and cant afford WOW
World Of warcraft costs money. People don’t want to pay $15 a month so that they can be jerks and ruin another person’s gameplay. Therefore, the players in WoW are much nicer and kinder towards other players.
Runescape however, being free, is full of children aged 8 – 13 who have no idea how to even ACT polite let alone truly mean politeness.
WoW has the better community hands down :)

runescapes alot better than it used to be, alot of the 8-12 YO’s werent actually 8-12 but PKing pures who where very arrogant and merchants who liked to rip everyone off.
with runescapes major shakeup last year with the wilderness removal and trade levels alot of these undesirable elements left the game, plus with quickchat under 13′s cant speak normally, so any little kids arent half as annoying as they used to be (and most of them where pures anyway).
your gonna run accross people who arent very nice no matter where you go, your always gonna get a few people who think “phr33 st00f pl0x’ is gonna help them get ahead and people who dont want to work for their cash and think calling you a “noob” or “nub” gives them some kind of power (just stay of freetoplay and PVP worlds and you can avoid this).
just to give you a heads up on something though, remember that all answers here will be about people attempting to defend their respective game, i personally havent played wow past the tutorial part (i didnt like the command interface) so i cant comment on its community.

World Of Warcraft because loads more people play on it.
World of Warcraft is a better game that way. Although The trade chat and barrens chat is always terrible
Young people are very annoying and i know why because i’m 13 and all the adults in WoW helped me because i’m young!! LOL, but i quit, WoW is just another way for people that failed their life in the real world and they want some where to forget about all those things and just chat and kill dragons and demons and undeads. It is extremly fun but think about it, in the real world, you can actually chose who are you going to interact with and you can get a bunch of friends and party like raids in WoW! So i’m not going to say get a life because the meaning of the word life is that a certain purpose of your appreance in this phiscal world and if you chose to play WoW or runescape, you have chosen to give computer techs jobs and game planners and help the economy in some way. ops, i got off the topic, WoW is waaaay better than runescape!
