How to get your friends to play World of Warcraft with you?

I really want to play a good mmorpg at the moment. Sadly, I have discovered that World of Warcraft is not nearly as much fun to play without your friends. This is made difficult by the fact that my friends are cheap and will not pay the monthly fee easily. Does anyone have any advice on how to get my friends to willingly pay for a monthly fee?

go to the World of Warcraft site and get them to do the 10 day free trial (Don’t need to put in CC info for the 10 days) and go nuts online :)
I sort of have this problem my friends quit and it got less fun (they come back for WotLK) and my other friends would make fun of me a ton for it but i had to cancel subscription so i doesnt matter
have them play the 10 days free trials first. if they are interested, even a little bit, tell them drink one less soda per day and you will have enough money to play.

10 day free trial. You refer them and you get play time if any one of them starts paying the monthly subscription. If they dont, then find new friends in game or anyone that says they play WoW. Easy Peasy.
