Zune Reboot Save Your Zune
This is a great trick to reset and reboot your Zune. It works for the Zune 30, 80 and 120. This is a real life saver because sometimes the Zune can crash. Mine did a year ago before I learned this trick and I thought it was dead. Happily it fixed itself in a day, but I wish I knew this trick then. Hope it helps you. Please let me know if it does and don’t forget to rate and comment :)

@ShadowWolfRtL Im not sure if it was the car charger but am assuming that if it is a official Zune car charger then there shouldn’t be any problem. Glad I was able to help :)
you sir are a life saver. I figured there was a hard-boot seq. I wish i knew about this before i destoryed my first 120 lol. But yeah, both of them (persumely tripped in my car while i was charging it and listening to the music through the AUX). I’m wondering if it was the car charger or the car cig lighter.
@378523378523 Zune 80 doesnt have touch screen technology dude. That technology wasnt introduced untill the Zune HD
is your screen broken?
@NemesisDragon2007 Thanks buddy and glad I could help…hmmm a beer sounds good ;)
DUDE!!!!! YOU ARE THE MAN!!! MY 120 GB IS WORKING AGAIN!!! YOU DESERVE A BEER!!!!
@Wildmonky3000 You’re very welcome :)
thank you soooooooo much
@ArthurElizondo Hi Aurthur :) I think the blinking display is an indication that the unit cant access the hard drive. Additionally if it wont accept a charge I’d try to disassemble it again and make sure the hard drive and all connections are secure. Unfortunately opening the unit voids all warrentee from Microsoft. So if after opening your Zune and making sure all connections are secure and it still wont function, its time to get it to a MIcrosoft service center for some professional TLC.
My Zune logo blinks on & off every second. It doesn’t turn on at all. I took it apart too & disconnected the battery & the hard drive. It still didn’t work. I tried rebooting, as you described–no good results. It appears that my Zune is not charging since It will go blank when unplugged from the PC. What does the BLINKing mean?
@buxom72 You are very very welcome :) I know how you feel because my Zune died on me before I found this reboot trick, so I posted it out to help fellow Zune owners. Thank you for watching

@RedPortiaOne thanks bro for responding
@MrSpartica Hi :) All I can really say is to try the trick, and perhaps re install the firmware. Maybe? try letting the battery drain 100% and then recharging it again. If you get the support screen then your Zune may have to go off to Microsoft for some warentee maintenence. Sorry I couldnt be of more help bro :(

@itachi456789 Zero battery life sounds like you are gonna have to send it to Microsoft for service. Hopefully its still covered under warentee.
