How do I delete songs on my computer without it effecting my Zune software?
Last time I deleted a song off my computer it took it off the Zune program, and also off of my Zune once I plugged it in.
I know there’s a certain setting you can set it on so that it doesn’t take it from the Zune. I don’t care if it is off the program, I just want to keep the music on my Zune.

you have to take your Zune off smart sync. Just put it on manual sync and drag the music you want on your zune manually that way when you delete them off your library they wont come off oyur Zune. i know because i had the exact same problem! strange… i hate the Zune so i just got an ipod
go to zune settings and choose “software”
at the top (beneath “settings”) now choose “smart sync”
this will eliminate random songs disappearing after
you delete it off your computer
Change the settings. do ‘Manual Sync’ instead of ‘Smart Sync’. Then YOU control what is sync’d or not sync’d.
