Okay so you’re telling me that the opinion the reviewers’ makes is right because they’re on this official website? Here is where you just messed up you just told me that you are taking the official reviewers’ opinions as the accepted value. What I’m trying to say is you are accepting an opinion from a certain side of the debate as the correct answer with out question. official reviews don’t mean unbiased reviews. Read the reviews on cnet for ipod and zuneHD they have completely different tones.
Don’t worry about the typos. NO, official reviews. They tell you what one product has, the tell what the other has you make you’re own opinion and they give you thiers, which is usually right. Not just some guy making an opinion video. Official websites.
Reading other peoples’ reviews on products is not research it’s simply reading someones’ opinion about a product. So YOU obviously haven’t looked anything up. (btw, I had a ton of typos in my last couple replies all were accidents)
Why would you actually go to cnet or anything similiar to pc mag. for reviews? You do know they are biased and don’t review a products they simple compare it to similar products. If you read it carefully you can pick out the biased tone they have in the ZuneHD reviews compared to the iPod touch reviews. I actually looked at the specs and researched instead of believing someone’s biased review. So I’ll tell you this… again… go do some RESEARCH (which means no opinionated reviews, only facts)
Apps, games, and internet do not make them unique. Most Apps/games aren’t made by Apple or Microsoft but by indy devs, wi-fi is shitty unless in cities’ that are decked out with wi-fi. Now what makes them unique are the qualities the don’t share. Such as HD radio and HD videos. You can have fun listening to your library of songs over and over while I listen to the news in HD or my unlimited music for the payment of a WoW subion.
Looking it up on youtube is not looking it up… and no you don’t watch a long as movie on the ZuneHD (unless you don’t care like me) you use the zune dock and connect it to your HDTV so that you can watch your HD movies…
With out apps, games and internet, then both of them are just mp3 players. That’s what makes them unique.
First of all, Who actually sits in an awkward position and watches a two hour movie on something that small. And secondly, I compared the players. Head to head, everything about them because I considered buying a zune. YOu can go to cnet, or any other tech site. YOu can even watch direct comparison videos right here on youtube. You obviously haven’t looked anything up.
@COkeagu You didn’t answer my first question… what do you compare? and Not only does the ZuneHD have a superior graphics chip, superior screen, and HD radio (which never was ultra portable before) but it also can play HD movie in 720p. iPod touch cannot. Try not to bullshit me… I’ve researched this stuff more than you ever have and most of what you’re saying is BS or the Internet /Apps argument. Try to find something the iPod touch has that the ZuneHD doesn’t other than apps and internet.
get a gel case then. It won’t go anywhere and it won’t get scratched. Even if you don’t, having the coordination of an average 5 year old is good enough to hold the ipod. And, wow it doesn’t have radio. It’s a device that stores you’re favorite music so what’s the point of listening to the radio hoping for something to come on. Okay, the zune has clearer sound and visual quality but that’s about all its got on the ipod.
@COkeagu What did you compare? because if you actually compared SPECS the ZuneHD wins by a lot. It also seems that you bought your iPod touch just for the Apps and internet. Oh yeah, you my want to research what you’re saying because I’ve been looking at your other posts / replies and it looks like you only use the Internet and Apps arguments never talk about specs or how it handles compared to the iPod touch. I have held an iPod touch and it always feels like its going to slip out of my hands.
I actually considered getting the zune hd. I compared them and the ipod is better. The intenet is definitely better with the ipod. with tabbed browsing, and my ipod’s wifi works on my college campus. My friend’s zune? nope. How’s youtube on that thing? OH wait no flash and no youtube app.
@COkeagu The internet is better for the iPhone for sure, highly doubt the iPod touches wi-fi is that much better than the ZuneHD’s since they use the same wi-fi connections. The touch is crap yet so many people buy them due to the excesive advertizing and because the iPod touch came out before the ZuneHD. (that and some Apple Fags such as yourself won’t take the time to try something new because you are scared that it’ll dominate your device)

OH yea, you obviously don’t have an ipod because those “useless” apps are the ones you end up liking the most. Even Microsoft knows it. They said that the zune HD isn’t meant to be an ipod competitor. If the touch is crap, how come so many people have one? Because, it’s just better

You really need to stop telling people to do some research because you’re starting to look like an idiot. You’re telling people to do research on a product that beats the iPod touches specs like crazy. Plus most of the Apps for iPod are made by indy developers who had some free time. Most of the Apps for iPod are stupid anyways and to set you straight the internet on the iPod touch is crap since it is also using Wi-fi just like the ZuneHD. They aren’t on the 3g network or 4g network…
Then why was Bill Gates the richest man in the world for awhile and not Steve Jobs? You’re just made because you failed at your choice between the players.

umm… iPod touch doesn’t have HD radio, can’t play 720p Hd movies, and has shitty wi-fi. If you were going to say you were comparing it to the Iphone… you’re dumb for comparing a phone’s internet to a music player’s.
…I did the research and guess what? The ZuneHD has longer battery life, better screen, better grapics chip, and is smaller size wise though a tad bit thicker than the iPod touch. The ZuneHD spec wise actually beats the iPod touch by a long shot.
Had my ZuneHD for a couple months now and I am loving it. Sharing music through Wi-fi and listening to as much music as I want is just great. It’s a very solid device and I think everyone should atleast give it a try. Unless you’re an Apple fanboy or Macfag. If you are an Apple fanboy or Macfag go dig a hole, jump instead of it and shoot yourself.
