What Are The Real Dangers Of Never Letting Your Mp3 Player Reach Full Charge, If Any?
I heard way back in the day when I bought my first mp3 player (a Creative Zen Micro), that once the battery runs out, you must let it reach full charge before using it again. If it’s partially or halfway charged, using it again will decrease the life of the battery. I just recently upgraded to a Creative X-Fi media player, and I’m patiently awaiting it to reach full charge again. Am I wasting my time worrying about this?

I think this used to be more of a problem in days gone by. I don’t know if it matters less now or if we just don’t notice the difference because we upgrade our electronics so often now a days.
I remember when I got my first phone that I was told you should always fully charge electronics fully before their first use and as often as possible in future charges but the last time I got a phone I was told to run out the factory charge before charging it fully =S
I think with modern batteries its more important to run them out before re-charging than to fully charge them x
