@DJFUSION25 The Stanton T80 is a turntable with a line out meaning it does not need a ground wire. You will just need a phono lead to connect the turntable to your mixer. For information on setting up turntables have a look at our other videos. You can also call our hardware team on 0121 687 7777 for any technical queries.
i got a question now i am getting turntables from a friend the stanton t.80 its missing that cord that goes to a mixer do you have to have that cord grounded to go in the mixer and can you show us how to set up the turntable to the mixer?
@tjreeseman you can scratch on this model. Unfortunately this item is now discontinued. If you are interested in a Stanton CD Deck that you can scratch on, I would reccomend the Stanton C.324 (cat no. MR248121 on our website). The large jog wheel is touch sensitive for a realistic scratch feel.
can you scratch on it or no
???
@betekvs the jog wheel is touch sensitive.
Hello , What s the name of the song pls?
is the C.313 stanton giving the BPM of the track?
Pls what s the name of the song? ^^
When you use the Jog Wheel to scratch, does it work like a touch sensitive wheel?
รจ meglio lo stanton c 313 oppure il piooner cdj 100 s???rispondi…grazie…
The unit uses standard RCA cables for its outputs.
Has the unit got and audio output or headphones because i want to run an audio cable from the unit to my stereo systems audio in
Only real difference is that you can’t pitch bend on the jog wheel if you put in the scratch function. But as you have the pitch control on the right of the unit it’s not a huge problem.
Whats the disadvantages of adding the scratch function to the c313? I’m a complete begginer and have just bought some c313′s. I want to learn to mix but I’d also like to scratch. Thanks
That patch is made for the Stanton C313 only. It is an official Stanton patch and thus will only work on that product. Please contact Cortex to see if there is a similar solution for your dmix 300.
i was wondering, can I download that patch for my jog wheel for my dmix 300, or do i need that exact product?
Ofter you have downloaded the update you will need to double click it and extract it. 5 or so files should then appear on your desktop (if thats where you downloaded the update to). You then need to burn them files to a cd and make sure the cd is finalised. You may also need to use a different brand of CD or burn the cd at a low speed.
when i attempted to install the update the screen said ‘reading’ and never changed…how do i fix this?
On the C.313 your using the jog dial, which is the large black circular wheel in the centre of the CD deck. You use the whole platter to control the scratch facility.
so, when ur scratching on the c313, are u using the jog wheel, or can u use the top circular bit to scratch? or is the whole thing jus what u use to scratch. im well noob on this.
It’s very good after you update the c.313 but the c.314 feels and sounds a lot better, mainly because it was built with the scratch function in mind from the start. The c.314 also allows you to turn the scratch function off, whilst the c.313 does not once the update has been applied.
would you say that scratching on the c.313 is as good as c.314?
The scratch quality is extreamly good. As mentioned above though, you do lose the ability to pitch bend on the jog dial. You can still however pitch bend using the slider on the right of the unit.
is scratch quality good? what are the disadvantages?
Once the scratch emulation has been enabled it can only be switched off by downloading another firmware update to disable it again I’m afraid. So once installed you cannot use the jog dial for pitch bending.
