the difference between ipod touch 2nd generation and the enw ipod touch?
okay so i got an ipod touch 2nd generation and they came out with a new ipod touch? i dont know if its the 3rd generation, but they say its newer than the 2nd generation. is the new ipod touch the ipod 2nd generation with the ipod software 3.1? or is it actually a new ipod touch 3rd generation?

It’s a the brand new iPod touch 3rd Generation released Sep. 8th 2009.
Comes with the new 3.0 software.
It’s differences are only that it’s suppose to be faster.
the new 8gb is no different but the 32 and 64 are 50% faster and come with a microphone headphones and it has voice memo for speaking into it and recording it and the new one is so much better
The 3rd generation has twice the RAM and a approximately 20% faster processor. That means snappier performance, better web browsing, and faster games. The next generation also skips the 16 GB and introduces a 64 GB. (I think anyone only needs a 8 GB, that’s all I use and I filled up all my app screens and have 2 GB of music).
