iPhone 3G is wayyy better
that’s how all ipods are silly. You can add any MP3 to itunes library though. In other words you have to use Itunes to add music but the music does not have to be downloaded from itunes store.
i purchased a 3g last week and dam their expensive! I wish the screen was a little better but you know for another 100 bucks I can get a kick ass netbook that does soooo much more

the battery on my 2008 iphone 3g is ok.. not great
not as good as my 2009 ipod touch 64gb but the 3g still has a reasonable amount of battery.. i can play games on it once in a while but i have to keep brightness no higher than about a third of the way through the bar
