If you rely on Ultrasn0w for you network connections then do not update to 3.1.2. Don’t do anything just stay on the firmware and baseband that you are on now. If you are on an official carrier then go ahead it’s fine. What is a tethered jailbreak:- When you Jailbreak your ipod Touch 3G with Blackra1n it will mean that it becomes a tethered jailbreak. It can run on it’s own however it may need the support of a computer, hence the name tethered. that depends. if u wanna jailbreak u get some app for free.u don’t get all the app on the app-store but u get about 100-200 game and a lot of themes.if u don’t wanna wreck Ur i-pod (about a 2% chance( then don’t do it. but it very unlikely it will happen.
How do I downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 on ipod touch 3rg generation

OK, I did this a month ago and it worked awesomely, got tons of apps for free, then an update for my ipod was availibal so i downloaded it and it took away blackra1n, cydia, but not my downloaded apps. It was no big deal but when i tried to jailbreak it again it wont work. Ipod wont reboot, just stays black. Was the update like..idk…a wall or something. MY friends cant get theres to work either. This is not a scam, if ur smart, u can do it right…or “could” have dont it right

yes, i just got a new touch about 3 days ago and when i turn it off i have to connect it up to itunes :( it suks. eventhoguh on this tutorial is say the a 2g is not tethered its it in the new 1s on my guess.and if u do get it the version will be 3.1.3 so to jailbreak u have to downgrade it then jailbreak which kinda sucks. Unless some1 else make a jailbreak for the 3.1.3
