How do I update my iPod without losing all my free downloaded songs?
My laptop broke, and I just got a new one. When my sister once tried syncing her iPod on a different computer, she lost all of her songs from sites like LimeWire and FrostWire, but all her songs downloaded from iTunes stayed on her iPod.
I really want to avoid losing some of my songs, so how can I convert my music and update my iPod on my new laptop without losing my songs?

You can’t. That’s what you get for stealing music. Next time support the artists who make the music and for the most part get ripped off by their distributors as it is, and buy their music.
Shareware is riddled with viruses and that’s probably why your laptop broke to begin with. Downloading copyrighted content from shareware is illegal anyway.
