How do I get my music off my ipod and onto my new mac?
*
I just got a new mac, and with that i got a new ipod. So i hooked my new ipod up to my old itunes on my old computer and transfered all the songs onto it.
Now, i tried to plug my ipod into my mac, and it won’t transfer the song. It gives me the option to “transfer purchases” but it doesn’t do anything.
So how can i get this ipod synced with this new mac?

You may try this iPod to Mac Transfer. I always use it to transfer songs and videos from my iPod to my macbook, my friends recommend it to me, it’s safe and works pretty well for me. It also supports transferring photos on iPod.

You mean transfer from the iPod to your computer? Why would you think iTunes does that? iTunes never lets you transfer from the iPod – that’s one of the oldest and most important differences between iPods and other players.
You can use an ipod to Mac transfer program to help.I personally use AVCWare Mac iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer. It helps me to copy my songs/videos/photos/playlists etc from ipod to Mac directly and safely. It works well for me,you can give it a try.
Free download it at: http://www.ipodtocomputercopy.com/macconverter/mac-ipod-to-ipod-computer-itunes-transfer.html

I know a good ipod converter which can easily solve this problem.
4Media iPod Max for Mac can easily transfer and backup iPod music, photos, videos, movies, podcasts, and TV programs to Mac and iTunes. You can also download, convert, and transfer any DVDs/movies/music to iPod directly whether they are compatible with iPod or not. With this iPod manager for Mac application, you can connect multiple devices at the same time and transfer files between them.
If you are intrested in it, you can download the free version at try:

It won’t be a problem if you use AVCWare Mac iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer.
It automatically transfers your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos to Mac and iTunes. Backup all your music and video in a couple of clicks. Really makes music and videos sharing pretty simple and enjoyable. Wish this can help and good luck.
