HHhhmmm i dont think you can but try going through the my computer and opening the files on your ipod add just drag and drop on your mp3 file
Sync it with itunes. Then right click on a song in itunes. Choose Show in Windows Explorer, being that you have windows. If you have Mac find a way to navigate to your itunes library in finder. Go up a level to the full itunes library. Open another window explorer window with the MP3 player on it usually D:// or some letter. Select your whole itunes library and drag and drop it into the mp3 window.
This will work if your mp3 player supports mp4 aka m4a.
If it doesnt you will have to convert all your songs to mp3 before you transfer them.
You mp3 music only play MP3 format music. I am not sure you can do like that or not.
I know a tool that can access the iPod music files on computer directly without iTunes and enable you to drag the songs onto to your MP3. Something called iPod explorer. It may work.
Good luck.
The music you download from iTunes is drm protected. in order to play it on non-apple mp3/mp4 players, you need to remove the drm and convert the protected music to drm free mp3 format. the easiest way is to burn an audio cd in itunes and rip it back as mp3 format. Or you can get some software to help you.
I would recommend you follow this guide to learn how to convert purchase itunes music (m4p) to mp3:
