How Can My Stereo Play Music Straight From My Mp3 Player?
I have a creative zen touch mp3 player. I want to buy a new stereo. I wonder what my new stereo would need so that I could plug my mp3 player into my stereo and have music play through the stereo’s speakers.

get a hookup from best buy
it should come with a cord, it plugs in to the line in on your mp3 and the other end plugs into your line out slot on a stereo. so make sure the stereo has a line out slot.
that should work.
buy a stereo with a USB connection
One with a front panel “line in” jack.
you can go to radio shack and they have a cable that will plug into your headphones and then plug into your traditional inputs on the back of ANY stereo. You do not need anything fancy but if you can get gold plated plugs that will give you a cleaner connection.
This one’s easy. All you have to make sure of is that whatever stereo you should decide to buy, make sure it has at least one auxillary input on the rear. Then go to any consumer electronics store of your choice and buy a cord with a female 1/4 inch headphone jack on one end, and RCA jacks on the other end. Make sure it’s long enough to stretch from the back of your stereo to where you need it to be. Usually about 5 feet should be fine, but you can always get a headphone jack extention if you need it to go further. Then just hook the RCA cables (left is white, right is red)into the back of your stereo, put it on aux, and hook the headphone end into your portable MP3 player. Also, keep in mind that the longer your wires are, the more distorted the signal gets unless it’s well-grounded. Hope this helps!
