How Can I Listen To My Mp3 Player Through My Car Stereo?
I have a CD/ radio system in the car (built in to the car) – no cassette player.
The MP3 player is a creative zen.
Live in England
Cheap and legal preferable.

In order to give you the best solution, we need to know a little more about the CD player in the car. I’ll just give the basics of all of the ways this can be done….
If your vehicle’s factory deck has a “Aux in” or “CD Changer in” on the back, you can use those. If it does have one of those inputs on the back, you will need a special adapter that takes the CD Changer input plug and turns it into female RCA plugs (the red/white plugs on all audio equip.). Then, you can get another adapter that takes the headphone jack on your MP3 player (I have a Zen Xtra) and turns it into male RCA plugs. Just plug the RCA’s into each other, set the deck to Aux/CD Changer and you’re done. If you don’t have CD Changer/Aux inputs on your deck, then go to the next paragraph.
The second way would be to get one of the FM Transmitters that the other people described. They are about $20 (US) and made by a few companies-Belkin is one of the larger ones. You plug the transmitter into your MP3 player, and then it transmits whatever music you want to listen to on a specific radio frequency. All you do is tune your radio to whatever frequency the transmitter is set to broadcast at. This can be useful because it allows you to take your MP3 player and use it in just about any car-not just your own.
Hope this helped!!
I don’t know about England, but a company called Belkin makes an FM adapter for MP3 players and it works really well for about $15=$20 USD.
Some auto CD changers have an AUX IN jack on the back of them that’ll allow you to plug-in your MP3 player.
Check that out 1st.
You can purchase an adaptor from Belkin that will utilize a radio frequency so you can listen to your MP3 player through your existing car stereo system.
There are a lot of cheap ($20 or so) units that hook up to the mp3 player, use a cigarette lighter as a power source, and broadcast the music from your player to a specific radio station.
