Yeah, iTunes files are protected with Digital Rights Management, which is really a pain. In the future if you want to download more music from the web, check out the amazon.com mp3 store. Their files are in mp3 format and DRM free, so they can be played on virtually any device.
But to your question. You can convert the iTunes files, but it is a bit of a pain. First, burn them onto an audio CD in iTunes. Then, using another program, such as Windows Media Player, rip them back onto your computer. That should put them in a usable format. I have been told that you can rip the music back onto your PC with iTunes itself and get the files into mp3 format, but I have never tried this myself. There are also converters you can buy that allow you to bypass this step, but all the ones I’ve seen cost money. Hope that helps you out!
it is because all of the songs are protected mp4′s. They cannot be played on anything else than an ipod. Look for unlocking mp4′s on google
Yes this is true. Only Ituens can play the songs purchased or an Ipod. This is because they are CopyRight Protected. To Get the songs to play on other thing you need to burn the songs on an Audio cd. The Import the songs as MP3 or however you chose to do it and Your Done. Hope it helps. If you need help e-mail Me! LATERS!!
If you don’t know, music purchased from online music stores are protected.
